For several years, the Knollwood Foundation has quietly supported local backpack programs to ensure that area elementary school children don’t have to worry about where their meals will come from when they aren’t at school.
Thanks to the generosity poured out annually at “Christmas in Mauldin” we have been able to continue that mission.
We recently expanded our aid when we learned about a local high school that launched a backpack program for its students in need.
After asking about the high school’s specific needs to feed their identified students for the remainder of the school year, we delivered enough food to launch the program.

This ask doesn’t replace Christmas in Mauldin, but with your help, this provides an additional opportunity to serve more children in the community.
